Sad Day!
« on: August 09, 2009, 09:17:27 AM »
Well it's time to have my 6 year old black lab put to sleep. He's been having siezures and strokes for the last couple weeks. They have been minor until today when it lasted for more than 3 minutes, and now can't even stand. He is sorely going to be missed and don't know if I will ever get another dog, he has been my hunting partner for the last 5 years. Love ya bud, your in a better place.

Been just over a month that I put my 15 year old down. Wife and I were talking about it yesterday and she started crying. Sure is a sad deal especially in your case. Right in his prime. What a bummer!

Thanks guy's. Went in at 11:15 to the vet, then drove to my parents place north of chewelah and buried him. It's been rough never had to go through putting a dog down it's been really rough, but thanks to all of you it makes me feel better. Thanks again.

Very sorry. Six years was too young, but it's great you had 5 great years of hunting.

Sorry to hear....I hate hearing about friends losing their good buddies...
