Blacktail shed.
« on: August 10, 2009, 12:49:41 PM »
Was out hunting bear on the op, and was cutting thru a partial cut and low and behold, sitting on a stump was a pristine non chewed up shed.  Since I use a library computer now, I can't bring up pictures, but I can describe it.   It is a three point, no eye guards. The main beam is 23 inches long, the main point is 13 inches long and the next one is 4 inches long. I'm so excited at this buck and knowing that he is prlly still around. Kinda puts a damper on dear hunting though... don't think I will do the high hunt knowing this guy is around.

Is there any specific areas you guys see blackie sheds in? or does it just take alot of roaming around. Hell theres so much brush makes it damn near impossible
