maybe the shooter was 90 years old. that would be a cool story as well.

It sounds like it's time to get a new gun.

Well here is a pic of us last week!! We were driving thru a clearcut when I spotted a bear along the tree line. He fed into the tree's so I decided to try and call him back out!   I used one of bearmanric's calls and the brush started popping and cracking between each session right below us. I had no idea what it was but knew it was getting really close!   Finally i had enough and figured he was close so grabbed the gun and stood up to see what it was. I was face to face with a little mangy coyote. He bolted down thru the clearcut and I dropped him at about 20 yards.   Well that day was a bust besides that!!    More story's and pics from yesterday to come later!!!!

So sunday we decided to go up an old grade and check out a blueberry basin. We got to the top and immediatly could hear something below us. After about 5 minutes he showed himself and was feeding up towards a saddle.  We made our way around to where we thought the bear was feeding towards and got in a good position!  After a few more minutes he was coming up infront of us at about 70 yards. The grade was on our right and I wanted him above it for a nice easy drag. He fed across the grade and up about 20 yards. I whistled and he turned broadside looking at us. One shot behind the ear and it was all over!!!   A nice bear on the ground and somemore meat in the freezer!!!

Not only is Jenna a good shot but she is one very pretty little gal. And I still don't see her weighing over 90 lbs. but I won't argue with her...

Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.

Sounds like a great hunt. It's good to see the ladies out in the field, my wife is just getting started.
