How many of you guys are heading out for Sept.-1?!!!
« on: August 11, 2009, 05:58:19 PM »
Im loosing sleep over it.  I went scouting last weekend and saw some really nice bucks. Ive got my tree stands ready, all the camping stuff packed, and my bow is shooting the best it ever has..... or maybe thats me. I still have two broadheads that will not stay accurate out at 50. But plenty of them are ready to rock.

I cant stop thinking one of those big boys are gonna come right under me and im going to shoot over, under, or flat out miss him from 20 yards.............Its killin me! :bash:

 Any of yall fellin this?

i will be 25 feet up a tree :P i ahve a multi season deer tag, but the big bucks are easiest to patten in the early season. so i am hoping to notch my tag with a big one early. i ahve 3 or 4 P&Y bucks regularly appearing on my camera below my treestand in the daylight. if i tag a deer early it will be time to focus on baititng the bears in Idaho and tag my first bear!!!

Sep 1st is okay, Sep 8th is better, and can't get too excited until the 10th when I head out for the rest of the season.  I do have a multi-season deer tag to put to use as well.
