Which is better
« on: December 16, 2007, 08:33:05 PM »
I'm looking for some new hunting arrows.  I narrowed it down to Maxima Hunters 350's or Gold Tip Pro Hunters 75/95.   I shoot a Switchback XT at 71lb and a 29 inch arrow.  Looking for thoughts on the two.  There about the same price.

Crunchy, I've shot Goldtips since they were the first internal component carbon arrow and always had very good results with them.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

You couldn't go wrong with either one. It's all about the person shooting the bow, and their limits.

I think Ironhead nailed it.  If its a local shop thing, buy one of each and see which is spined the best for your bow.  I shoot Goldtips.  I think some brands or types shoot better out of one bow than maybe another.  Try to see which is the perfect match-up.
