my friend just bought the xmd 40 and it is simply *censored*! i was surprised how smooth dao trigger pull was.

Springfield even marketed it that way when they first came out. Put a Powder River Trigger kit in it... then you won't believe how nice the trigger can be. I put one in my XD, and the full trigger travel is now shorter than the take-up used to be... it's about 3#s... the reset is about 1/3rd or what it was...and there's no overtravel. All that for about $80 and an hour at the kitchen table.
Just Googled it. Easy install? I think that you just cost me 80 bucks!
A quick question for those that know, how does the Springfield XD compare to the S&W M&P?
