Here's a picture of my ex hunting buddy with the rack of the deer he killed 7 or 8 years ago. Washington buck.

Gotta be a story behind that, maybe even two of them.   Gorgeous buck.

I have to head out the door right now for work. Gotta run a train down to Portland. I'll tell the story when I get back in a couple of days. I'll tell you this. It was taken on one of my "drop camp" horse pack in trips. Have a great day guys.

Bone Im sure you have been where this buck was shot.  It scores 202 0/8 and was shot in 2000.  In 04 they took a 200 2/8 in the same area.

I don't know if Doug as been in there or not. The score is right on though. The guy pictured and I hunted together for a few years. We had a falling out a couple of years after he harvested this buck. Nuff said about that. I had taken a buck just a tad bigger (wider) a couple of year prior to Mark taking this buck. I shot the left antler off the buck that I took. Both bucks were taken in the Sawtooths. You can see my "one antlered" buck in my gallery. It is a great area to hunt. You need to pack in with an outfitter though if you want to see or harvest the big boys. Good luck to everyone tis year!!

Yeah. It's the Sawtooths Doug. BIG BUCKS!! It's just my opinion but I think it has the BEST genitics in the state. We have taken some real pigs outta there. It's just real tough hunting.
Like Claude Miller says " It's straight. Straight up and straight down!!!" It's steep!!!!

Mine too, left one scoped 2X and right once.  Had bi lateral done almost 2 years ago but they are getting bad again.  I will not let them slow me down.  Kent Hunter, I was invited to go with Mark on the 04 hunt when Jim shot that 200''er.  I turned him down on his offer though. :bash:

There is a nice big glossy color pic in one of the albums at Antlers Tavern, I got a nice one that year too but not like that pig.
