There's a reason they call it hunting, not killing.

Is the logging roads open or are they still closed for fire season?

Howdy Brandon.....a bears a bear.  Smaller bears are mighty tasty.  You might think the fun is over 'cept for the memories but this winter you can pull a chunk of roast or sausage out of the freezer & knaw on it.  Those bears have a way of giving long after they hit the ground for the last time.  BTKR has an awsome roast recipe.  My favorite is hot smoked bear brats to accompany my WA brown ale.  ITS ALL GOOD as they say.  Now that I'm a "cardiac risk" person, I make sausage that is 5% fat as compared to 40% for "storebought".  Just what the Dr. ordered-bear hunt'in!!!

The "worm has definately turned for you".  You might still get a rush taking an elk (I'm jealous) but now you got an itch that won't go away 'til your out in the bear woods on 1 Aug.  Something about going after a critter that will go after you-now thats a rush (am I sick or what?).
