Welcome AngelFace, don't worry if you pay attention and take good notes, you can learn a lot on this site. Your first muley wont take long, just remember to carry a camera, your first will be a very special one.

Welcome Angelface, make sure you get that boyfriend of your's address on here when he gets to a a point where he can get mail.  His support team is waiting.

Coon.......I am not really sure how to prove the point on the string.  Its been in every magazine and book since Genesis practically, and I am not even sure.  I do know that I don't even pretend to know a 1/4 of what there is to know about bow mechanics, and I don't want to question the likes of Schuh, Jones, and Adams.  I figure they know a hell of alot more than I do.  I can imagine that it can cause specified stress to weaken the string and eventually cause it to break.  They also recommend changing your strings alot, which I do not do, but had one snap on me the day before elk season one year.  That was a scary experience and very inconvienent.
