need help with cam setup

I got my first Moultrie D40 cam..  but not sure about a couple of the setting's..  Do I use the "Default", or the "Custom" setting ?..  also what setting do I use between the "Camera ID", and the Dead Eye ?

I just set up my second D-40 today and I left it on Custom. I don't no what you are talking about as far as "Inbetween the Camera ID and the Deadeye"???? On the camera Id you can create some text that will show on the photo like a location or something so you can tell the photos apart from ones that you took from another location.


I had great success with my first one. Going out to check it again tomorrow!
