i want them for general hunting...ELK DEER BEAR ETC...

i have but want some for general hunting use.
im sending back my rockys.

My suggestion is to try and find some locally to try on first.  It's tough buying a pair of boots without putting them on your feet.

Danner is not my first choice for when I'm going to be walking a long ways but they'll probably be fine if you're walking shorter distances.

my rockys are defective.
After calling sportsman's guide they said they have been having problems with them.
the sole is comming apart from the bottom of the shoe.

Your first problem is "Rocky"  Junk products, IMO.

Or you could go with the Scarpa Liskaams, I sent them back.  They were too narrow and dont make wide.  Your feet can be your lifeline in the backcountry so keep them happy.  I think you do a lot of road hunting so crocks should be a better bet for you. JK! :chuckle:

my brother has them and loves them...
and they are the only danners that i am able to exchange the crap rocky ones with. (price is about the same)
