My buddy rolls with the sling shot and I'll punch him right square in the jaw if he ever packs it again.  We got two bulls this year when he was there with this pack and it is good for a backstrap.  A freaking backstrap is all we got in it.  So he had to pack the head out.  I'm a firm believer in taking out a full load on the first trip.  The rest of the group runs badlands 2200 packs and one guy has the superday.  Much better packs than the lil sling shot.

He seems to like his pack for hunting right up until something is shot.  Now if you aren't getting too far from the road.  Well than maybe it is the pack for you.  I wouldn't own it myself though.

I have the Eberlestock X1 and Badlands 2200.  Both are great for carrying a bow.  I prefer the Badlands because it is quiet enough (unless it is really cold) to wear while still hunting; the X1 is noticeably louder.  It is a great rifle hunting day pack though.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
