Dall Sheep
«
on:
August 22, 2009, 07:14:49 AM »
I moved from Washington a few years ago to pursue a career and a few hunting dreams. Chalk another hunting dream fulfilled. Sometimes a guy just has to sell out and move to get what he wants.
Brooks Range 2009
7 day walk-in hunt
Airline miles, $300, a few mountain house, and one good hunting buddy.
Lets just say I wore out my Danner Trophy boots on this hunt.
Enjoy my WA hunting friends.

NICE! That is my #2 all time goal after polar bear. Sweet looking ram but it looks like you shot him at the Kool-Aid spring. Congrats and thanks for sharing.

Nice sheep looks like he did a tumble or two. I loved hunting the brooks range when I was stationed there. I took a real nice one in the Wrangells also.

Congrats on getting done on your own. Read your story on the Alaska site.
Very impressive. Snyd, the guy with the red tent was the guy who helped me out when I completed my dall sheep hunt in 07 in the Wood River.
I was fortunate to do this hunt once in my lifetime. You are fortunate to be able to hit it every year. Good luck with your future hunts !!
Ps: You need to post the full story for the boys!
