2006 WA Raffle Buck Mount BACK!!!!
« on: December 11, 2007, 07:33:12 PM »
Hey guys, i figure it is the right time to post some pictures. Got this back around a month ago.  Our taxidermist did dad's mount first for us, and also for him. He had it done and keep it out at his shop for a bit to show off.  Greg Tubbs of Tubbs's Taxidermy did the work, and i think he did amazing. Really need to see it in person to grasps everything.

Anyways here are a couple pictures of it, not the best pictures, the lighting in the room is kind of weird and the camera wasnt liking it. But i did my best.  And the last picture is one wall of mounts of bucks taken in the last 5 years. with a couple more in there that are on a different wall. Enjoy!!!

Good looking buck garrett.  Good thing you shot that buck when you did there might be a housing development going in where he shot that deer.  That wide buck he was running with is back and a couple other decent ones, but nothing that even come close to your dads.  If your around this spring i may need some help on a bucks sheds i think he will go in the 190's and i am hoping he will stay here all winter.

Great looking mount.  That is quite a trio of mounts. Great Wa bucks ( is the center mount a Wa buck? )

Any luck in MT this year?

I posted a few pics with a story about it. something like montana trip 2007 i think i called it.  And yes all three are WA.  on the left is swakane 2005 middle is mission 2002 and the right is raffle buck 2006

Hey Garret, I'm Ky's dad. I really can relate to you and your fathers hunts and the memories. We have seen your family out to dinner a few times when we have been out. You guys are really great people in and out of the woods. You can never replace the time spent with your dad. The only problem is that its getting harder for us dads to keep up with you young pups. I'm really glad he was able to harvest it. My brother had been watching that deer for a few weeks. I didn't know about the deer until the evening your dad shot him. My brother called me at home, and said some hunters were putting a stalk on the deer. He watched from across road and saw the the whole hunt. .Small world.

The 3 amigos, awesome Washington bucks.....  Congrats to you and your dad it's
been fun to watch the last few years. Those wall pedastel mounts look awesome. I stare at the mounts on my wall daily, and there all dinks compared to that wall of yours. Thanks for posting, Steve

Wow, great looking collection of bucks.  Congrats.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.
If I ageed with you, then we'd both be wrong.

I still like the big NT Swakane buck.  Not as big as 07' raffle but you have to appreciate the character.  All nice bucks, what a wall covering.  Looks like your Taxidermist did a great job.  Congrats again, hopefully you have a chance to post some additional pics this winter.
