Whopper Bull and a Nice Buck
« on: August 23, 2009, 10:12:33 PM »
Couple shots from this week.  The buck has a split browtine and good mass.  Unfortunately he has been walking by at dark, hopefully he isn't into his nocturnal habits already.  I plan to treestand hunt this trail in a couple weeks, and would love to take that buck.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

What a great moose picture. Thanks for posting. Good luck on the buck as well. Hopefully you get to post a close up with yourself in the frame.

I love the stealth cams. . . Darn good quality for the price you pay.  This camera is $140 now, and they keep tweaking them.  I've got first and second generation models and both are holding up well.  Sometimes you get some weird colors in the pictures if it bakes in the sun (I got some when I had it facing square in the sun in 95+ degree weather).  I think they're calling this camera the Rogue now.

Stealth cam is all I've ever owned and all I'll ever own I think.  Don't like the idea of putting anything worth more than that in the woods and risk it being stolen, and still get plenty of quality.
