Nope, this is an Idaho bull, but only by about 20 miles or so.  I think he's got to be 40-45" anyway.

Alan K,

Nice bull and nice buck :o, they would both look good on the wall.

Your running the 540IR - any issues with them shutting down on you halfway through the soak?  Mine may take 300 pics over a week, or they may take a days worth and stop for no reason when I know there is activity going on???  What brand and size of cards are you using?  I called Stealth cam and they recommended changing brands of cards.

May that for which I prepare never come to pass.

Hey Cylvertip,

I haven't had any problems like that.  The battery life has been amazing for me so far. I've had my camera on this trail since late june and have yet to switch batteries.  The last time I picked it it had gotten 1562 pictures in a week and a half (Filled up a 2GB card!). . . That was because that bull moose layed down within range of the camera and stayed for about 20 hours.  :bash:

I have used both 1gb and 2gb cards in them, and none of them are quality brands.  I've just bought cheap ones on ebay or bought the cheap ones that come in package deals at the store.

By the way, I've had one night in the stand over this trail so far, didn't see any deer from the stand, but saw a fawn on the walk into the stand.  It's way to big to be hiding like it was anymore, it was laying still in the brush like when they are newborn.  It was only about 15 yards away, so I just snapped a quick shot and moved on, didn't want to spook anything more than I already had.

I'm taking off today after my class that gets out at 1:45 to head up and sit my stand this evening.  I plan to camp up there and sit it through the weekend, drive back to the west side on Monday and hunt elk back home for a week!  I'm pumped!

Alan K,
What resolution level are you using?  I have mine max'd out.  Maybe that's the issue :dunno:

I always use the best possible resolution, and far coverage (if that changes anything).
