Nice bear, congrats...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.

Had some pto to burn, so I took Fri. off and headed for the blue hucks. It was pretty socked in and slow for the first few hours, but at about 9 it started to break up. We were watching a pretty nice buck at about 800 yards when the bear fed its way out between us. I got set up for the shot and watched em for about half an hour.  The bear and fog finally cooperated and I had a good clear broadside shot and took it. At just over 400 yards the bear crumpled without moving a mussle or doing the ol' bear bawl. I was lucky to have a few buddies hunting in the area who gave me a hand with the drag-thankfully because it was a tough one...I was shooting 165gr out of a 300wsm. By the way, dont think that I was just wing'n lead 400yds, I practice with my rifle allot :)

I was just wondering about the caliber because I like to know what other people shoot. I shoot the same setup!, 165gr, Nosler Accubonds in my 300wsm.
Great shot bud!!!!!

Cool always good to see a few more bears being harvested.  It started out fairly slow this season for most.
Cut em!

Now that is a real beaut, and the bear is nice too!

Seriously, you are quite modest to call that an average bear.

Congratulations.
