I would have to say no to that!  Though they do get done.  Not a whole lot of taxidermists will ever do an elaphnat.

I just pulled up the sight and I can see them just fine.  Try re-booting your computer if it still doesn't work.

Or try clicking on the little globe under my avatar pic.  Than click on price list. :)

Michelle, what type of turnaround time do you average on buck shoulder mounts?

 Thanks

Honestly it depends on how many deer I bring in.  Also what order I receive yours.

I try to have all Deer Shoulder Mounts done with in 9 months of receiving them.

I really want a turkey done this spring. I usually shoot a good one and say i am going to have it done and never do. I hope this is the year of the turkey for me. Do you use the real head or an artificial? I would love to see a turkey or two that you have done. Prices look real fair. With a strutting one, do you use a pedistle type base with vegitation? Is that included or extra?

Thanks,
Slinger

Always use a real turkey head.  You don't get the detail with a reproduction head.

A basic base comes with the Turkey.  Base with dirt, leaves, and a little grass is mainly what I do.  Not quite sure what you have in mind.

Not sure what I have in mind yet. I will think about for the next few months. I just wanted to know basics. I know that any extra always cost a bit more and that is fine.

Some taxis use a fake head and I really like the real heads better if they are done right. Good to know. You might be getting a call from me.

Thanks.

Everyone has their own way of painting thier turkey heads.  What looks realistic to one taxidermist may not look quite right to 1/2 dozen others and vis versa.

Hey michelle, if all I have is a cougar skin that's been in the freezer since October with the head and paws still unskinned, can I still get a shoulder mount?  IE: no measurements or anything like that from the whole animal....  Thanks

I can't see some of the prices for skulls...

What does a clean/whiten on a typical black bear skull run?
(great looking work, BTW!)
I left it better than I found it...did you?
I hunt animals because veggies are too easy to stalk.

$125 for just cleaning/whitening.  Plaque is extra depending on the plaque you choose.

Hey how much would it cost to have a coon hat made? lol I always wanted to make a hat out of my first coon. Not that I'd ever where it in public, but I just want one.
I'd rather hunt with Dick Cheney, than ride with Ted Kennedy.

I've never made a coon skin hat.  Guess I could do it though.  I am pretty handy with a sewing.  Though I am not sure what I would charge. :dunno:
