Idabooner would have to answer that, but I bet it is long gone.  the forest service went through and burned and removed most any cabins that were in the woods.  No trace you know.  I guess thats their reasoning.  I don't mnd if the trash gets picked up, but I wish they could have left the history.

Nice photo... does this cabin still exist or is it long gone?

Bowhuntin, I'm sorry to say the cabin burned in the 1950's, I think, every thing is gone, almost can't tell where it was.

I would really hate to see something like that get vandalized, the great memory survives!

Late reply but this is great stuff. The Harts Pass post was also great stuff. This isn't the first time I have read through them and won't be the last. Need to check out some of the books. Thanks Bone and Idabooner.
