So i dont get this post,

True statement.

you have all your own gear, all your own food,

i have all my own gear and food but just would rather not go alone.

from what i understand you really have no idea where to go and are hoping someone will take you there or invite you there

We had a couple of ideas where we wanted to go, but nothing in stone.

I have no real need to defend backwoods (he does a pretty good job of that on his own, despite occasionally walking right into a slam), but I don't think that his request was ever begging to get into someone else's camp. He is in fact inviting me to his camp - and I don't even have to chop any firewood.

Live your life in such a way that if someone were to speak poorly of you, nobody would believe them.

Would be pretty cool if you guys killed a couple nice bucks, I think it would shut a lot of us up for awhile.  Its just entertainment though, kill some buck guys! :)

Hey i was only ribbing backwoods, ABSOLUTELY no malice intended, hope you guys have a great hunt, where are you going to go if i might ask, if it's near me you are more than welcome to stop by and have a glass of milk  :chuckle: or  :brew:
To hunt and butcher an animal is to recognize that meat is not some abstract form of protein that springs into existence tightly wrapped in cellophane and styrofoam.

Backwoods you are our redheaded stepchild.  We may beat on you but in the end we mean no real harm, but man is it fun! :chuckle:  Give it hell this year and you might be rewarded, if not I will fill your freezer for ya! ;)
