Teanaway Choir practice
« on: August 25, 2009, 08:50:04 AM »
Laying in bed with the window open last night and the boys started singing about 10pm and went on till midnight.  Heard at least 4 different bulls out in the hay field across the road.  Nice start compared to last year.  Never heard any bugles around the house till Mid-September last year.  Looking forward to filling my Peaches Tag in 2 weeks.

Matt, what channel should I call you guys on?  Seriously, putting a rack on my bike and hoping to ride the quarters out.  Plan to be back in about 7 miles from the end of the road.  Will try to stop by your camp when I get up that way after the 2nd.  Most of where I plan to hunt will hopefully be downhill to the nearest trail.  Hope to shoot straight and qet a quick kill.  See ya soon.

:o  How the heck will I make it thru the next two weeks!  I guess a trip to the highcountry this weekend for some final preseason scouting will help.

Matt, 0800?  seems late, shootin light is a little closer to 0530-0545.   If my bull is down, I would be more than happy to return the favor.

Anyone seeing any hogs in T-way? ;)  I drew the 1 Rifle Tag for Sept 21-25 in the Teanaway unit.  Been seeing a few nice bulls, but still looking for that "big one".
