I've been nothing but pleased with my Trophy Taker Shakey Hunter.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

that Tri Van rest looks pretty cool.  Is it quiet?  Let us know how it works for you.

I've checked my rest and it comes up at about 1.5 inches.  So I know it's not the timing.  I took it to the pro shop and he suggested I adjust the spring.  I guess there' two settings.  Although it doesn't matter now because on saturday my string broke and sliced my hand open.   >:(  So I'll be using my little brothers bow for the next couple of weeks or so.  Thanks for the advice everyone.  When I get my bow back I'll try all of that.  Thanks again.

For what it's worth, I shoot the Schafer Mat 1 it does not like Cock Vane Down but works perfectly Cock Vane Up. Maybe this would work for you.

I'm shooting cock vane (blazers) up on my Trophy Taker and that fixed the contact issue I was having, after trying everything else.
