Anytime.  I took about 100 pictures of him and another 200 or so of another bull.   Lil posted a pic of him in the background thread.  I'll get him on here one of these days.  He's bigger.  I was having a blast.  The other bull would go even deeper.

You should sell those to RMEF for Bugle.  Awesome pics!

That first pic, the sudden intense desire to punch an arrow right into the top of the little shadowed spot, in the edge of the neck hair just forward of the shoulder, was enough to raise my heart rate.  Sweet!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Thanks guys!  I've got to get this other one up, but fear you won't see it until after this weeks hunt.  I have a basketball tourney today with the chicks.

The elk all along the various Yellowstone National Park rivers do this as well.  That is until a wolf comes and eats them...   :chuckle:

Awesome pics... would love to find an elk doing that and even posing for the picture..
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.
