I think he's a good looking goat but not a shooter if you want a big one.
needs a little more height but seems to have pretty good mass.

Depends what area I guess. I would be tempted though because it would be my first speed goat.

Does look like he has good mass, but I would be hard pressed to give him much more than 13" for length.  Cutters look good, but hard to say from the angle of the photo.  He'd ghet a pass from me.  Does have a nice looking cape however.  he would be a good buck to take for a cape to have.  First buck I killed over 15" had a 6" diameter bald spot down tthe back of his neck from fences.  Antelope can have messed up capes, and he has a good black face.
I didn't say it was your fault, I said I was blaming you.

Depends on what tag I had.  I agree with dobby, comparing the horns to the ears you can see he's not huge, but he does have good mass.

A trophy hunter would pass. A meat hunter would probably be satisfied. It could go on the wall either way.

Looks like he has a great cape.  I will be going after my fourth this year and the area we hunt gets hit real hard because there is very little public land.  I would shoot him there no questions asked.  This year I might be a little more picky. :dunno:

nice looking goat, if you are going for a true trophy then I would have to say no, if you are going for a trophy for you and it is your first one, then it does have a nice black face to it, so would say yes.

Second one looks a little wider but looks smaller as far as mass and length.

Yeah the second one is small, hes really short so it makes his cutters look crabby. Id shoot the first though. My guess on the first is 70 inches or so.

For me the first one is big enough. But score to me is nothing. I just don't care. I like the way he looks and I would take him without a doubt.

I like the symmetry of his horns...and I'd consider him a trophy...

Nice looking goat, I would say it depends on the tag I had. Non trophy area, he's down.

So is that like a non typical claw on his antler or a busted or split horn?

Those extra cutters are fairly common  :twocents:. I guess you could say its Non typical though. My only antelope I shot had a bump up where that ones extra cutter is, probably would have turned into one eventually. His Cutters were 6 inches long and were starting to split into two.

I would have to pass. Im thinking around 13 to 14 and as low as the cutters are you would loose a measurement so not a shooter in my book. But with all that said its really up to the person with the tag if it was a first he would be laying on his side.
work hard and reap the reward or dont and get left behind!!!
