This exactly what we have been trying to tell people, the wdwl is not being truthful on the amount of wolves we have in the methow. This is where the find new wolf pack BS, is gong to hurt Washington. We will have so many wolves by the time they finally say if ever, that washington is ready for delisting. The only wolves they talk about are the little bitty 08 pack. They lie to your face and then snicker.  >:( >:( >:(

why don't you guys start a website or something, documentationofwolvesinwashington.com, seems like you have enough photos, gps coordinates, den locations, pack locations etc, that if you kind of gather all the info it will be harder for them to lie and say there is only one pack in the methow. I don't hunt in the methow but seems me that would be a good thing to do.

Thanks guys, Just like to help ya out to know what is out there.  Just want to share with ya bit about it. They travel all over place hardly get picture with in one or two week with LOT patients! No need Bait or anything. Look for those most fresh tracks then learn how they travel and why they came this way etc. Most likely they travel same CIRCLE same IDEA as Elk Path. Follow the Wolves track and set TrailCamera where two foot to one foot wide of most traffic trail because Wolves use nose on track whole the times on wild animals tracks. Thats how they hunt animals.

Today They mostly hang out East of Twisp area and south of Lake Patterson whole summer Close to Valley where all Rancher lives. When Rifle Season open they moved upper hill from valley WEST of Wintrop toward to Sawtooth Canyon due to pressure Deer hunting. FYI where they travel West while Modern Rifle open. They wouldnt not be around with in 8 miles below south from hwy 20 thur Oct month. U wont be able to get reposned their Howling if your going more FAR West while Rifle season.

I will post map when winter start to hit, I will post later.

This picture is where they hang out 8 to 15 miles West and little south between Lake of Chelan and wintrop when Rifle season open.  They might travel different for some different reason.

Warn Wolves track can look a lot same Coyote but Track look like 4 to 4 half inches track. Coyote is 2 to 3 inches But pups could look same as Coyote. Dont feel upset if you find smaller Tracks but it could be Pups Tracks Worth it to try set TrailCamera. Almost impossible never see Coyote in TrailCamera.

This article was on the front page of Sunday's Spokesman Review.  I was surprised that this paper would print something positive for hunting as a management tool for all big game.....wolves too. :o

My regs don't say anything about killing wolves can I take care of your problem? I would kill all them basters If I wasn't going to get into trouble for it. Maybe I can get a wolf tag from the Tribe.
