I'm thinking he's just saying that the lands that were closed due to fire danger are now open.

This was just a handful of areas.  They have a map of their lands that show which ones were for lease.  They were small parcels of anywhere from 300 to 1000 acres.

I keep getting frigging emails from them, they are really advertising that lease stuff :chuckle:. Too rich for my blood, plus looking at the parcels and knowing where they are, for the most part those lands are not worth that kind of money to hunt, they are surrounded by a ton of free lands.

Way too rich for me. And like you say the land that is for lease is not very good.  Another thing was why would I lease some land that I couldn't scout first??  They are behind locked gates with no public access??  Maybe I misunderstood them at the sportmens show. :dunno:
