He's on here somewhere, but not necessarily these shots.  He definatley belongs in the ultimate moose thread.  That thing in hogzilla.  Permit apps are in.  Maybe his brother is out there.  The big classic way to load a moose back there is with a skidder, and I believe that is what happened with this guy.  What a bull.   I can't believe you  noticed axes in that picture.  There could have been a naked chick standing there and I wouldn't have noticed anything but those antlers.  LOKK AT THE CHARACTER in them.  DANG!

Obviously a place where this bull hasn't done alot of rubbing. Some of those points are nice and long and pointy. Wouldn't pass him up for sure, and to be able to load him whole like that is definately a rarity.Great bull.

Didn't notice the axes until after they were mentioned but Im damned sure i would have saw a naked chick there and wouldnt have seen the moose at all.

I don't think they care, thats why they have small eyeballs I think.  They just plow forward.  I tried to walk through the patch of alder he emerged from and I was like NO WAY.  Even with an ax cutting a tunnel through it, it was no fun.  They are amazing critters.
