No Lions, No Billies, No Bears..Oh my!

So I was headed out this morning for my bear hunt and the road which leads to the town I was going toward had an accident. They told me 3 hours before the road was going to open up, so I decided to head up near Baker Lake area. Well, I must have made a wrong turn in Albequrqie because where I ended up was more like Goat or Ram country! Here are a few pics! As the title implies, didn't see any big game but flushed 5 good sized grouse.

I had to deal with an accident on 522 opening morning...it put a damper on it, but we still forged on.

I'll be honest with ya... After that first pic of the tarn area...even if I saw a bear I wasn't going to shoot it because I was already way to far in by myself. However, being stubborn like I am I just had to see what was just above the next ridge! Here it is!

That is exactly why I stopped where I did. I got to the ice and figured there is a difference between hard and being stupid!
