Hornady Concentricity Gage
« on: September 02, 2009, 02:53:52 PM »
I ordered this thing last week and got it in the mail the other day.  I was able to find some ammo in my packed boxes and pulled some out and tried it out.  I must say I am not impressed with it.  I can't seem to get the runout to be better than .oo4.  I called Hornady and the guy on the phone told me that I was doing everything right and that I should eliminate all the runout.  He was kind of back on forth on a few things like where to put the dial and the nylon set screw.
So far I am not impressed with this tool or Hornady for that matter.  It may change after I use the tool a little more.
