I too am a fan of knives made by Bruce Bump. I am a fan of the man himself as well. He is a salt of the earth kind of guy. I bought my first knife from him back in early 2004. It has BG42 steel and ironwood handles. I got my second knife from him a couple years later. I designed the blade shape which is made of S30V. It also has ironwood. The upper knife in the photo has the BG42. Both are fantastic knives. Here is a photo of them:

Those are some good looking knives!!! It's cool that Bruce will work with you and let you design your own knife.

Yes it was cool to work with Bruce. I also really enjoyed being able to select the wood for each knife. By the way what unit/area did you get your bear? Good job on thinning out the bears. I plan to go out tomorrow. Rufous.

So when are you posting pics of your second bear, elk and cougar?
