Thanks!!!! I wish I could share a lot more of the photos I took to happily show you the whole scene, but I am sure you guys can understand why I want to keep this one to myself a coupel years. After hauling him out though and burning all my clothes so I didn't have to carry them out, lol, yep this one was a tough one. My knees and feet may never work again. it didn't help that it was so freakin warm. I don't think I have ever sweated so much. I am still thirsty.
I know he won't win any scoring competetions and I am sure he won't take the trophy home this year, but I am excited about him. Something about a massive muley that just fires up the ole heart. I was very thankful he was out of velvet.

I'm with you Doug. My favorite traits for a muley are mass and width.

That's a great buck in any book and one to be very proud of, especially in steep open country with a longbow and two focused arrows. He's a stand-alone buck for sure.

Incredible. The terrain looks unreal. Its not the rack that counts, its the hunt to get that rack that proveds the best memories!

Congrats
So what you end up packing to eat on the trip? 10 hours in and steep country had to require some serious energy
