Just voted...hard to believe results.  Guess if you don't have to live with them you like em.

Well you know how it was when hound hunting for cougar was voted out, the cougars started eating peoples dogs off the front porches, killing livestock and stalking people. Wasn't long and those same people that voted it out were seeing that it just wasn't that cool having fluffy eaten. Same thing will happen with these wolves just like in the other states, only the wolves will be one hell of alot werce than the cats. These same people, some of them will wake up to late and they will find their love for the wolves fading. If we can not get the wolf plan changed to hunting for management, instead of translocating problem wolves, I think we will all be in a world of chit. In the end when the wolves are eating people out of house and home, the brains in charge will realize to late, that they are also in a world of chit, and open season will be declared. That time might not be as far off as some think, since the ones in charge started planting wolves around Washington quite some time ago. With no hunting and an open fridge these wolves multiply at a rapid rate. The bullsh$t that we are just now starting wolf recovery in Washinton is just that, BULLSH$T! :twocents:

I agree BearPaw. Those same gutless people who let this happen because they were afraid for their careers, or the media or trying to be politically correct, will then jump on the band wagon and go to criticizing and fixing something that cannot be fixed for many years. The more I see of the politicians in this country, the more I hope that they will allow God to get though to them. If not, then I would hope they are along ways from the truck when the wolf pack shows up. >:( >:( >:(

70/30 in favor of yes right now  :'(

Was this anyone we know:

 Guest
I would have voted yes except for the animal rights nutjobs in this state.  The USFWS and the Animal Rights Organization all agreed let us reintroduce wolves in ID, and when they get to 300 animals we will all be happy and they can be taken off the ESA.  What a load of crap, now there are conservatively 2000 wolves and still the nutjobs on the left will not allow wolves to be SCIENTICALLY managed.  Love having wolves back in our woods, but they have to be controlled like everything else or other animals suffer.  They have devastated elk, moose and deer herds.  Unlike other predators who's own numbers fluxuate with prey numbers wolves will just move to the next species and or area.  Next it will be livestock and pets.  If you folks would stop with the hysterical responses and realize some wolves are great but they are NOT off limits when it comes to management then farmers and ranchers and sportsmen would also be happy to hear them back in our mountains, but since you can't be trusted to follow sound management then we'll continue to have these heated wolf wars.

'Brains in charge'? There are no brains in charge in this case.

Stupid people will never admit their mistakes. Don't expect them to admit they made a mistake and then allow open season. This is what makes them 'stupid'.

It doesn't matter how many pets, livestock, or people get eaten, they will never get over their infatuation with stupidity. It is what they are made of.
