I'm heading to the very NE corner of the state.  I have always wanted to stand with one foot in Idaho, one in WA and take a nature call into Canada.   :chuckle:  There is a river bottom up there just north of the Salmo Mtn Lookout Tower that I'm going to try and find a bear in.  Then I'm heading down and hunting the Pass Creek Pass to Hall Mtn to Grassy Top Mtn area.  First thing Saturday though I'm helping my Mule Club clear the rest of the trail up to Shedroof Mtn.

I actually did that, but was standing in Idaho and Montana.   :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Well stop in at Gypsy Meadows and look at all the mules and say howdy.  I'm sure we'll have the campfire going and have some grub you can share.

Just got home, I'm beat!  Saw one small bear on Saturday, he was crossing Hwy 20 about a mile and a half before the Ione bridge at 1 pm.  Must have been hot and thurtsy so he was down at the river getting a drink.  Walked quite a bit this weekend found lots of huckleberries and no bear sign up high and one very nice track that was fresh on the Thunder Creek trail right across from Gypsy Meadows.  Got pretty wet today and yesterday.

Yea, me too.
Legs stayed completly wet from the brush, even when it wasn't raining. Seen two bears this weekend, but no shooting situations.

Was fun to be out with the boys though, just need to take more pics! Lots of sign, most old though
