From what i have seen this year, the horns are great. I am seeing much bigger bucks in my regular pots than i normally do. In my opinion this is one of the best years i have seen.

It's excellent all over the West! Should be good if you have the tags. I know we have some really good mule deer located on public ground on both my out-of-state tags this year. Some absolute hogs in W. Wyoming! I have really noticed the horn growth in the E WA whitetails....not so much on the mule deer. Or, should I say, I haven't seen anything over 155-160".......but then again, I've only scouted two days. My old man is being tight-lipped and passing 150's muleys and whiteys with his bow the first two days of season this year, so it must be good!

Well, I can't complain.
Seems like the extra moisture or lingering snowpack left some vittles for good growth.

I'll join the concensus. I try to gauge antler growth based on what I see on the 2-year olds (raghorn bulls and first-year legal deer). I'd say this year is above average.

As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when. No habitat = no game.
