archery hunt so far
« on: September 04, 2009, 11:21:47 AM »
here's a few pics of my archery season so far...
I'll be brief and sum it up in a few words...
it was a great time, just me and my old man, packed 11 miles in, thunder, lightning, wind, sun, hot, cold,190" non-typical buck,170" typical, bulls, cliffs, rocks, bow problems, bow fixes, dad's first bow kill.

Great job sounds like an awesome trip!  Is that a 2 point?  I thought it was 3 point or better or antlerless??

1st morning ordeal..... two great bucks and a good bull....

I have tags for both, I chose the big buck although the bull got into a spot that would have likely provided a great shot opportunity. :dunno:

When your walking across that slope, in between rocks as big as you are, do you ever wonder how they got to the bottom and what they took out along the way?   :chuckle:  Great photo op of the buck and bull together.
