Anyone have an opinion of this ammo, good or bad?  What's a good choke to use with it?

If you have confidence in them go for it.  I have used them with good success.  I shoot 3" #2 and have shot geese dead at 30 yards on a handful of occasions.  Since I mostly duck hunt and see geese as targets of opportunity it is kind of nice.  That being said I was not able to justify the price last year and will not be able to do so again this year, so I will continue to shoot Kent shells.

As far as choke tubes go I don't have enough experience to help you out a whole lot there.  My brother shoots with a pattern master choke tube and loves it.  Just remember that because of the placement of the wad in the Blackcloud shells they can not be used in wad retention style choke tubes, like the patten master.

I love Black Cloud, but I'm in the same boat.  I dont' think this year I can afford them.  But, many people will tell you it's "all in your head" with these shells.  I happen to disagree.  Animals drop a lot harder when hit by B.Cloud in my opinion.  If you can afford them they are a good in-between from tungsten and bismouth.

The Black Cloud I shot last year did very well on the snow geese.  I was using BB or BBB don't rember now, but they dropped them.  Didn't have any gliders when using that ammo.  I do know that if I am shooting close in birds I only try to head shoot them by leading past the head when I touch off the trigger.  If you pattern the bird it tears the crap out of the brests, so I have experienced.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!
