eastern wa bear and deer killed
« on: September 05, 2009, 08:52:21 PM »
Deer hunting started lousy so my friend and I decided to go bear hunting.I had a one bear coming in to a rabbit call from 800 yards and this one decided to come running right at me from behind. I shot it from 15 yards away with a 338-378. Next time I'll make sure to watch my back a little better. My buddy shot this whitetail the same day after we picked the bows back up, and decided to hunt deer again.

That's a good day, right there.  Reminds me of a hunt in HS when a friend and I shot a cougar going up the canyon and a bear on our way down.  Variety is the spice of life...

Looks like your bear meat is laying in the dirt, are you going to eat it?
