It was about 6:30pm. I was over looking a clear cut. I kept hearing a noise below me, but could'nt pin point the noise, because the brush was so tall. Finally, I saw the bushes start to shake and out he stept.I shot once and he ran about a 100 yds and stopped.I missed!I shot again and he ran about another 100 yds and died. It was about 250 yds down hill and I was shooting a .270 with a 150 grain bullet.

Great Job! looks like a nice bear. I shoot a 270 as well. Been seeing alot of bear poop but nothing yet.
