Good .270 load!
« on: September 07, 2009, 09:15:46 AM »
Well I got my .270 all tuned in at the range. I loaded up some 140 accubonds with 55gr of RL-19 last week. I took the rifle and ammo to the range and was very pleased. It sighted in very easy.  I set the rife at 1'' high at a 100 yards. My last shots were all touching! After selling a .270 a few yaers ago, I always wanted another, my wife got me one last Christmas. I think she got me a good shooter!
I felt like a one legged cat trying to bury a terd on a frozen pond!

It sounds like you have a shooter! What make and model did your wife get you?

She got me a Browning A-bolt. It shoots very well! Hope I get a chance to try it out on game this year!
