QAD Ultra Rest

I would like to hear from the guys that are using or have used this rest in the field. It looks like a great alternative to the WB, and adds the fall away benefits.

Hi I've been shooting a bow and arrow for 48 years included are hunting,3dshoots , national and state shoots. That rest is by far the best rest I have ever used.I probably have used every kind of rest that has been made( I like to experiment )The Quad takes a little bit to set up but once you hit that sweet spot you will love it.

I've set up three of these for buddies, and they seem to be pretty darn good. One problem that I've come across twice is the bounce back hitting the vanes. I recommend the Lock Down model to solve that problem quickly. Other than that, they are a quality piece of equipment.

There are a lot a reviews over on ArcheryTalk.com about the QAD rest, I was going to put one on my Admiral but ended up going with the Vapor trail limb drive, I hear good things about both. I read a little about the Qad having problem because not enough grease in the gears, but I Personally have never tried one so , cant really say how it works.

I put one on my bow this year when I switched to FOB's ( LOVE THEM!) and have not had any issues. It was easy to install after watching the instructional DVD and as far as tuning the bow it simple. I have the pro series LD HD. I'd give it a 10.

I looked up those FOBs, so they take the place of Fletch's, never seen those before, glad to hear you like the limb driver I have heard nothing but good things about them.

One of the thinks I like most of FOB's is there is very little cross wind drift.

Added one last year and love it - a little tweaking at first but then it has been rock solid ever since.
