westside elk
« on: September 07, 2009, 12:48:13 PM »
I've had five cameras out for most of the summer now - two moultrie I40's and 3 homebrews. Plenty of elk, a few nice bulls, a couple fuzzy black things (one punctured the case on the I40), one coyote, a few deer, and zero humans. They're all pretty steep and deep on public land.

Here's some of the better shots.

Those pics were taken with a sony homebrew cam... I added the bar w/the moon info using a program I wrote a while back.

I'd love to find the big 6x6, but I doubt that'll ever happen. Maybe I should build a treehouse right there and stay in it the entire season :chuckle:

A treehouse gets my vote, from opening day till last minute of the last day... that is one nice 6x6.  Very cool pics, almost thought I knew where those first ones were taken at, but then realized with you being in Tacoma, probably not.  lol, a guy could hope at least....
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
