I myself wouldn't be proud of it.This is not the type of shooting we want passed on to the younger generation of hunters. Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see the picture removed.
The only man who never makes a mistake, is the man who never does anything!!
The further one goes into the wilderness, the greater the attraction of its lonely freedom.

I hear you Bone......I am pretty sensitive when it comes to archery shots myself.  I would never take a neck shot, let alone a head shot.   I won't even take a quartering shot.    Just thought this was pretty crazy.........

He may want to adjust his sights on the bow.  I guess it did the job.  My buddy shot his elk 2 years ago during rifle season and found a broadhead lodged in the elks snout.  The broadhead had stopped just below its tear duct.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

STUPID SHOT >:( Thats the person who gives hunters a bad name, I dont care who u are or how good you can shoot, u can hit a dime at 50 yards etc. The deers head is moving always and is one of the first things to move when alerted or fleeing the sound of the string along would move the head, I dont care if it was 10 yards still could move,if that arrow is 1" off that deer is running around with a arrow in its head, sorry for the rant but that is BS or just a horrible shot and ended up with a dead deer

The RIGHTEOUS have spoken.  :chuckle:  Kinda reminds me of always getting in trouble during "show and tell" in grade school.   :chuckle:

I agree.  There are enough people out there trying to give hunters a bad name.  A deer runnng around with an arrow sticking out of it's head is just another reason.
