it was GMU 231.

Mulehunter, he was pretty close to where you were talking about. I wonder if he was the same bear?

Hey Twisp-river-slayer Check this out if this picture you got Bear match this picture?  :dunno:

http://hunting-washington.com/smf/index.php/topic,33311.0.html

Yesterday I went up and found two BEARS and I let them go. One was 150 lbs and other 250 to 300lbs Not get any chance to draw my bow. He was at 70 yds and didnt get good spot to release my arrow Little Thicky brushy area! So I aborted and let it go.

Next time I will find BIGGER than this one. Just like yours! Maybe this weekend?

wow looks very similar! could be the same bear. Where did you hear some one shot that big one. BTW a friend pulled out a huge bear same area last night. Tipped the scales at just over 300, jet black though.

A guy in town hear about it. Not sure who told him about it. Anyway Post us a BlackJet Pic! I am jealous!  :bash: I should have use RIFLE instead Bow.. I have passed 9 Bears this year with BOW! No chance to get CLOSE to Bear this year.  :( Its soo HARD!   Rifle is totally EASY just pull Trigger and done!  :dunno: I am thinking about leave my Bow in Garage this weekend and take my Rifle this time.
