umtanum 342 reports
« on: September 09, 2009, 09:14:48 PM »
I was up scouting a couple of weeks ago, hot and dry did see some good sign around water. We did see a few elk and, has any one else  have any info or story's from the archery season? I have a cow tag during the muzzleloader season, any new info would help. I plan on scouting one more time before the season opens. Hopefully the rain and cooler weather will help.

There are a bunch of turkeys in that area too- those buggers really gave me away a few times last year.  :bash:

Thanks for the info, we did see some turkeys the last time out. keep me posted if you see any new elk activity, I know they are around. not sure wether to consentrate around dry creek closer to the Manashtash or down in the lower canyons. good luck with your deer hunt.

You're huntin Clemans for your bull tag.  I didn't even know elk lived on that Mt until the snow hit.  Sheesh shows what I know.
