shot this guy 10 minutes into opening morning elk...my biggest so far..

wish there was more of a story.. started my morning hike down through the timber kicked him out of bed and put an arrow through him , he went 20 yrds bedded and I got another arrow in him quickly.. my brother and cousin tagged does also..

awesome buck! i saw a spike while we were scouting on monday for elk in the lewis river as well. too bad i'm hunting modern for deer :bash:

Wow, nice buck, I think I saw that buck earlier this summer, since I know where that last picture was taken.... looks like we hunt some of the same country.. can not wait till Modern Rifle!!!!
