I'm singing the Blues
« on: September 10, 2009, 12:45:09 PM »
It's always like this.  Like waiting for Christmas.  I try hard not to wish the days to go faster so I can saddle up and get into the mountains as I know the days spent in camp will pass far too quickly.  None the less the day has arrived.  Practice is done, tags in hand, gear packed and wife so tired of me that she will carry my bow to the truck.  Friday morning will find me making my way to the Tri-Cities to meet up with half the crew.  That afternoon a trip to the store for vittles and gas and we're off to the Blues.  Should be up in the Misery country by late afternoon and have the camp pitched by dark.  Saturday morning offically starts my hunt and we will remian in the high country until the last day of the season.  Yea, it is a lot like waiting for Christmas.

It is better than Christmas.  Good luck and have a great time.

Good luck man.  I hunted opening day, and they were a little quiet.  Haven't been in town since.  Hopefully it will cool down this weekend.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
