Planned Cleanup
« on: September 10, 2009, 05:35:16 PM »
I was talking to my grandpa today who does a lot of volunteer habitat work and we started talking about the situation on the Puyallup River. With some of the negative headlines lately on this, I thought it would be a good idea to get a group together to do a cleanup, coordinate it with WDFW and the City's. If anyone is interested, please let me know, I plan to send through some other avenues as well.

That is a great gesture.  To bad there are some idiots that cause such a mess.

Thanks, I'm tentatively shooting for the 2nd weekend of October, just before the modern opener. Fishing crowds should be down a little by then.

The 2nd weekend in October "is the modern opener"
