I've got a couple, a 30-30, 22 and a 45/70.

The 45/70 is a guide gun in perfect conditon with ported barrel. BUT its blued, don't really want to take it out in the AK elements. If anyone has a stainless one and would ever want to trade plus some $$$ with it let me know.

thanks

Chris

Don't own any. I suppose if I acquire one that it will be chambered in .38 special since thats what the lady shoots for ccw.

Don't stomp my nads for asking this but, anybody know where to get a barrel for a 94? It's a 1975 and I kind of want a different rifling than the original.

Numrich Arms. Used to order parts from them but that's been years ago. I would imagine they're still in business. Good luck

Almost picked up a poor old abused 99 in the store. Had the octagon barrel and brass counter. Wife woulda been pissed about a 600 dollar safe queen though. I'll post picks of this 94 when I get it looking as presentable as I can. Receiver needs some steel wool and the furniture needs... probably new furniture.

Good point John... hehe

My 2nd gun was a Mod 94 30-30 in 79'. (first was a little H&R 410 in 78'). I have killed a humongous pile of bears, a couple deer and a few lions with it... I have shot it more than any other gun I have (well, except maybe a couple 22's).. Love this little gun, but haven't used it in many years.... need to break her out and put some rounds through her!

I learned a few years ago that the key to keeping the stocks on your like new firearms is to not put them in the truck the night before hunting season and have your hunting buddy get run off the road doing 60 mph , roll, and then go end over end, ejecting your friend and your rifles letting them and your rifles go end over end down rail road tracks. This is how I lost a brand new Remington 700P 308 Badger Rings and Rails and Brand new SWFA Super Sniper scope, and a like new Ruger M77 30-06 with a brand new Leupold VXII on it (Dad and I both killed our first deer with that rifle about 20 years apart) Damn near lost my best friend and hunting partner too. He is ok now head trauma, broken back and colar bone and sturnam later.
