The herd spends a day in front of the camera....
« on: September 13, 2009, 01:08:54 PM »
I put out some apples and the elk didn't find them for about a week...when they did they ate em all in one day, they were there from 8:00am to 8:00pm.  Got a few interesting pics, notice the marks on the cow.

You've got to look at the date, it's only the 3rd....Yes I do bow hunt but I love hunting the high country.

Yep...that elk kill'n guy shot his on opening day...he's pretty happy to get it done early this year because he drew a moose tag and didn't want to take the time off during elk season so he could be commited to the moose.

Those marks may just be hoof drag marks from a lucky bull :dunno: You are lucky the camera did not catch some elk porn :o. Great pictures anyway.

I can't believe you're going to give that bull a pass Coonhound.  He's a beauty.
