Hello......I was wanting to get some input on arrow flight problems I am having with my broad heads. Here is my current setup: Bow- 08 Martin Firecat 70lb draw, 80% let offSight - spott hogg 7DPRest - Bowdoodle Game dropper (I also have a ripcord fallaway I can throw on, but I like the simplicity of minimal moving parts of the bowdoodle)Arrows - carbon express 60/75 rebel hunter weight forward 28.5''Fletch-4'' vane techs. straightBroadheads - Rocket Ultimate Steel, 100gr.Release - Scott SharkHere is the issue I am having. The bow appears to be in tune and I am grouping great with my field tips out to 60 yds. As soon as I shoot an arrow with one of the rockets I am grouping to the left about 6" at 20yds!! My sight is maxed out for windage so I cannot compensate there, and I if move the rest to the right even just 1/8 inch the arrows start doing funky crap like fishtailing and are grouping worse. I think my form is consistent? but who knows. Last Year I was shooting some old 28'' (almost to short for my setup) graphite arrows made by Gold tip in 75/95 specs and was shooting great.... I would have stuck with these arrows but I was getting low on them and it appears that they are no longer made? The carbon express arrows I currently have are supposed to be rated for my setup....but could this difference in arrow stiffness be the issue? Anyway if some of you veteran compound guys have any serious suggestions...I sure would appreciate it.i dont know how much it really matters but are your broadheads aligned with your fletchings?
would the NAP QuickSpin Vanes do the job even if they were put on the arrow strait?
